Scope:
8 buildings ranging between two and five stories, with a total of 331 stacked dwelling units with attached garages.
Challenge:
The scale and variety of unit layouts, where the 8 buildings were similar but had subtle differences. Care and attention to accommodate each one’s particular aspects was needed, as well as having a clear approach for documenting unit variations. Care for design and use of ornaments was also a challenge in terms of modeling and graphic representation.
Construction details and ornaments. Development of specific and tailor-made families to meet design needs.
Facades and Program Specifics. While the buildings were similar, each had unique details, configurations, typologies, and specific characteristics that required focused and specific attention.
Highly-complex coordination. BIM strategy development and coordination of 8 different models.
